One Company One Job Campaign
2002年8月2日
I am delighted to inform you that since sending out our circular on 29 July to all Chamber members announcing the “One Company One Job” Campaign, which the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and several other chambers in Hong Kong initiated, we have received overwhelming response from companies, especially SMEs, expressing their keen support of the campaign. As Chamber Director Dr Eden Woon has said, the employment prospects are very bleak for tertiary graduates this year, and a 12-month training scheme can provide them with valuable skills to help them find a job next year, when the economy will, hopefully, be better. Please find attached the final version of the Vacancy Order Form, which has been revised with the Labour Department. The form has been simplified and is more user-friendly to help companies register immediately. (Please note a sample of the “Personal Information Collection Statement” as requested by the Labour Department is also attached for employers’ reference). Please register by filling out the attached form and fax it back to us (HR fax: 2527 0939) and we will forward it to the Labour Department. This is to help you follow up with the Labour Department in case there is any delay in response to your request. For enquires regarding the campaign and application procedures, please contact Karen Fung at 2823 1240 (Human Resources Division). For enquires concerning labour related regulations and job specific arrangements, please contact the Job Vacancy Processing Centre of the Labour Department at 2503 3377. Thank you very much for all your support and together let’s help create a better Hong Kong for our younger generation. Regards Christopher Cheng Chairman
