At committee meeting on 12 October, Gallen Tam, founder of EFX24, and Jenny Wan, founder of Bay Pickle, discussed how Hong Kong's sports economy is opening up opportunities for retail, tourism, and an expanding consumer base.

The fireside chat examined changing consumer preferences and the business potential of new sports concepts, including Gym Center's “Sport Lounge + Gym” model, and the growing appeal of pickleball. Speakers also explored how landlords, operators and other stakeholders could work together to bring underused spaces into use for sports, making activities more accessible while supporting commercially viable businesses.

On May 5, our Retail, Culture, Sports & Tourism Committee hosted an exclusive evening exploring the transformation of Hong Kong's luxury retail landscape at BVLGARI's One Peking Road flagship.
