Prior to joining the Bar, Allen built a formidable commercial career specializing in transaction planning, due diligence, and regulatory compliance. He held senior leadership and executive board positions across international audit firms, leading investment banks, state-owned conglomerates, and boutique corporate finance houses. Acting as a Responsible Officer for regulated activities and an approved principal for IPO sponsorship, Allen successfully led execution teams on complex public listings, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring transactions. He also oversaw offshore financing, asset management, and HKEx Listing Rules compliance for publicly listed entities. His deep financial acumen is backed by a Master of Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Hong Kong.
