Chamber Members Deepen Understanding of National Development at Tsinghua

This year marks the commencement of the nation’s 15th Five-Year Plan, a pivotal moment for Hong Kong as it transitions from stability towards greater prosperity. The programme provided participants with valuable insights into the Central Government’s policy direction and the blueprint for the coming five years, helping businesses identify emerging opportunities early and reinforce their competitive advantages.

Over the three-day intensive programme, attendees explored a range of key topics including China’s foreign policy and major power relations, innovation-driven development and the strategy behind building a strong technological nation. They also gained a deeper understanding of national development priorities through a comprehensive analysis of the 15th Five-Year Plan, alongside discussions on the evolution of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, opportunities for Hong Kong and national financial development strategies and risk prevention.

Beyond the classroom, participants toured Tsinghua’s renowned campus and visited iFLYTEK, one of the China’s leading artificial intelligence and technology enterprises, where they learned about the latest industry advancements.

Blending academic learning, industry engagement and meaningful exchange, the programme further deepened participants’ understanding of Hong Kong’s role in national development and the country’s long-term strategic direction. It also enhanced their professional capabilities in corporate strategic planning, enabling them to navigate a dynamically evolving business environment.
