“I will always help my ‘family members,’” he stated, pointing to the injection of HK$1.43 billion into the BUD Fund and the launch of the "Economic and Trade Express" to help SMEs expand overseas. He also discussed the vital importance of tapping into diverse markets and strengthening relations with Southeast Asia and the Middle East amid changing trading patterns.
Thanking the business community for their steadfast support and tireless efforts to buoy the economy, he nodded to Hong Kong’s dynamism and unique spirit – “Work hard, play hard, eat hard and spend hard” – drawing loud applause from the audience.

That said, he admitted Hong Kong still has a way to go before we get back to where we were. “My team and I are doers. We are achievers. We strive our best to make things happen.
