2017-18 Policy Address Submission

In its submission to Carrie Lam’s maiden Policy Address, the Chamber offers suggestions on enhancing the “Be the Smart Regulator” Programme to serve as an effective instrument for conducting Regulatory Impact Assessments (RIA) in the review of existing and prospective laws. The Chamber also provided recommendations on improving the tax competitiveness, human capital and labour supply, and better utilisation of the Greater Bay Area concept.
