Thank you to Secretary Choi, for sharing the Government’s vision and latest initiatives to reinforce Hong Kong’s position as an international education hub.
Dr Choi outlined key measures to attract and nurture talent, including expanding non-local student admissions, promoting the “Study in Hong Kong” brand, advancing digital and AI capabilities, and developing the Northern Metropolis University Town. She also highlighted opportunities for the business community to collaborate with the Government and other stakeholders in supporting these initiatives and contributing to Hong Kong’s long-term development.
We were also pleased to hear from Professor James Tang, Secretary-General of the University Grants Committee, who shared insights on the future development of Hong Kong’s higher education ecosystem.
The discussion offered valuable perspectives on education, talent development and the importance of building a future-ready workforce to support Hong Kong’s long-term competitiveness.
