Sia’s journey in Hong Kong began in 2008 with the establishment of its first Asian office in the city. Initially focused on banking and financial services, Sia quickly diversified its client base across different industries. Vincent Kasbi, Managing Partner and Head of APAC, noted that the Hong Kong team integrates deep sector-specific knowledge with cross-functional capabilities and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI).

In addition, the firm launched SiaGPT, becoming the first consultancy to offer a business-friendly GPT interface that leverages large language models to unlock tangible value across client engagements.
Sia’s dedication to environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles is integrated within its “Consulting for Good” framework, which is organised around three main pillars: Climate, Social Responsibility and Ethics & Compliance. For Sia, joining the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce was a strategic decision to accelerate its integration into the local business ecosystem. Kasbi observed that the Chamber’s events provide a unique forum to network with key decision-makers across the diverse business community in Hong Kong, enabling the firm to build meaningful connections and stay attuned to local market dynamics. The advocacy efforts of the Chamber have also proven instrumental in supporting Sia’s regional expansion aspirations.
Looking forward, Sia is deepening the collaboration between its Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland offices, particularly within the context of the Greater Bay Area. The firm is actively supporting Chinese enterprises in their international expansion while simultaneously assisting international brands’ integration into the Chinese market.
